Triple-threat talent Jana Kramer will soon be on your radio stations in addition to your television screens! The One Tree Hill actress has signed a deal with Warner Music Nashville for her major label country debut. Kramer will premiere her first single “ I Won't Give Up”, which she co-wrote, on the February 8th episode of One Tree Hill.
“I Won't Give Up” is about never giving up on the ones you love”, Kramer said. “I wrote this song because I know what it's like to be dependent on someone then have to learn to stand on my own again.”
Kramer is a singer and songwriter at her core and has expressed to The Examiner in the past how passionate she is about writing music. “It's a great, different way to express myself. I love it.” She says she wants to inspire people with her lyrics the way country music has inspired her. “If I can do that with my music, touch people the way that it's touched me, than I've done my job.”
Kramer will continue to divide her time between Nashville and Wilmington, N.C. where One Tree Hill is filmed, until the season wraps in mid-March.
