'One Spark' receives additional funding for 2014 winner

From April 9 – 13, 2014, creators from around the world will set up camp downtown showcasing projects in art, innovation, music, science, and technology. One Spark Creators will pitch from sun up to sun down competing for the chance to access $310,000 in crowdfunding and cash, however, this year, they’ll also be vying for the opportunity to be selected as the recipient of a $100,000 Golden Ticket in media, branding and marketing services from Void and one of the country’s fastest growing millennial-focused ad agency, Adjective & Co. Since 2010, Void has established itself as the leading media company in North Florida to successfully engaged the demographic known as millennials, those born between 1980-1996, who are the largest and most influential generation in history. Adjective & Co.’s team has been a strategic partner of Void’s since its inception in late 2013, as well as close ally and office mate of Void. In an effort to catapult one select creator to a high level of success, Adjective & Co. and Void will award one creator $100,000 “Golden Ticket” of combined media, branding and marketing services. The winning candidate will be identified as the One Spark creator most likely to make a positive impact on the North Florida community.

One Spark has been inspiring great ideas since it unveiled its inaugural crowdfunding festival in April 2013. Although the festival takes place over the course of a long weekend, One Spark continues to empower the community throughout the year by encouraging exciting collaborations that work together to create a better community. Void and Adjective & Co. have supported One Spark’s vision from the beginning and believe their combined Golden Ticket offerings will heighten brand awareness for one innovator’s creation on a local and national level. The Golden Ticket winner chosen by Void and Adjective & Co.’s leadership team will receive the following:

  1. Integrated branding and marketing services; includes brand identity, website design and development, social media strategy, full suite of advertising and marketing materials
  2. 6 months of advertising and promotion through Void Media; includes print (Void Magazine), digital (, and social media

“One Spark” is comprised of hundreds of innovators and all are viable for consideration of Void and Adjective & Co.’s Golden Ticket. Additionally, creators are welcome to petition their projects and campaign for the prize, which Void and Adj. & Co.’s leadership team will hand-select and announce on April 14, 2014, the day after “One Spark” is finished for 2014.
