Recently I have had a new client, who is building a new house. She wants me to check the new house’s Feng Shui for her and her husband. When I found that their bedroom is located at northeast of their house, I told them it is a very good location for the bedroom because northeast is the home of the flying star #8.
According to Flying Star Feng Shui, there are nine flying stars on the flying star map, also referred to as the Nine Gong Map (figure 1). Each flying star from #1 to #9 represents the impact of different cosmos energies on us every 20 years.
Each of cosmos energies also has many unique characteristics. One of them is the character of energy. In term of the Five Energies of Feng Shui, each of the flying stars represents one type of energy as following:
The flying star #1 represents water energy
The flying star #2 represents earth energy
The flying star #3 represents wood energy
The flying star #4 represents wood energy
The flying star #5 represents earth energy
The flying star #6 represents metal energy
The flying star #7 represents metal energy
The flying star #8 represents earth energy
The flying star #9 represents fire energy
When one flying star moves to the central square, it is regarded as a lucky star that mainly controls our Feng Shui for 20 years. And the home of this flying star on the Nine Gong Map is a lucky position.
From 2004 to 2023, the flying star #8 occupies the central square (figure 2). Since its home is at northeast on the Nine Gong Map, so northeast of our homes is a very good location for us, particularly for people whose Chinese zodiac is tiger, cow and chicken. For example, if you are a “tiger” or “cow” or “chicken”, your selection favors the room at northeast as a bedroom or office.
