Seven years ago, canine siblings, "Jane," and "Stella," were rescued from a high kill gassing facility and placed into a boarding facility in North Carolina.
The bonded sisters waited for years for a home of their own and today, one sister is left alone; earlier this week, the dog known as "Stella" passed away from natural causes.
On Tuesday, these sad words were shared on Facebook after Stella had passed:
Stella and her sister Jane have been in a rescue, living in a cement run for over SEVEN YEARS! All Jane had was Stella, now she has no one, just the cold cement floor, no family, no sister, no love.
Jane and Stella did not have a home for all of those years, but they had each other - today, Jane is left without her constant companion.
Please take a moment to network Jane's information - the time is long overdue for her to have a family, and a home, of her own.
