"One More Disney Day" Promotion Announced by Disney

Disney wants to know; what would you do with one more Disney day? 2012 is a leap year, so you'll have an extra day to work or play this February. The Disney Company is hosting a bicoastal celebration on Leap Day, February 29, guaranteed to be a hit with kids of all ages.

The "One More Disney Day" promotion has several parts -- extended park hours, some free trip giveaways, and an extra night at a Disney resort for most visitors:

  • For the first time, both Disneyland and the Magic Kingdom will be open for a full 24 hours, beginning at 6am. You'll be able to stay and play all day, literally. If your kids are early risers, take advantage of this and pack some extra fun into the early morning hours of March 1. Have night owls? Wear your pajamas and comfy shoes and head to the park at 3am. No matter when you go, expect some extra festivities in both parks to celebrate the event.
  • Want to win a free Disney trip? The Disney Company is giving away a free trip per day from now through February 29, 2012.  Simply text in your entry, full details and official rules here.
  • The odds against winning a freebie are pretty high, so if you want to be a part of the celebration, you can book your trip now. You'll receive a free night at your resort if you stay on site, and mention the One More Disney Day promotion.
