Washington, D.C. --- Police are investigating a quadruple shooting that has left one man dead late Wednesday in Northwest Washington.
Police have identified the decedent as 32-year-old Delonta Hendrix of Northwest. Police are not identifying the other three victims who suffered non-life threatening gunshot injuries.
When officers responded to the 1100 block of 1st Street NW around 11:56 p.m. they found Hendrix unconscious suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the 100 block of Pierce Street NW. DC Fire and EMS workers took him to a trauma center where he was pronounced dead.
In addition to Hendrix, police say three additional victims were located. One man was found in the 1100 block of 1st Street NW suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body. A second man was located in the 100 block of Pierce Street NW suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Both were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Police later found a third man who suffered from a gunshot wound to the forearm and was taken to a hospital by a friend.
The Metropolitan Police Department is offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons wanted for any homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
