One Direction has the fans listening to a great cover song for a good cause. On Monday the latest released song for Red Nose Day had One Direction on the iTune charts with the top song dozens of countries. Making the milestone announcement online on Monday, it appears that fans decided to step up and help the charity as well as get One Way or Another for the contribution.
“WOW! 'One Way or Another' is No.1 in 60 countries!! Thank you SO much guys - you've all helped raise LOADS for @rednoseday!” tweeted One Direction from their official Twitter account. The guys have been reminding fans all weekend about the song and even released a video to entice their followers to pick up a copy.
While One Way Or Another was first released by Blondie, the British Band has brought a very unique flair to the single while giving props to the original recording. Keeping the fast pace of the original song, the different band members swap off with lyrics making it very enticing recording.
