One Direction stars at 'X Factor' show in Sheffield; Birmingham concert reviewed

On Feb. 12, 2013, three of the five members of One Direction attended "The X Factor" U.K. concert at Motorpoint Arena in Sheffield, England. One Direction's Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were all seen at the concert, according to various eyewitnesses who posted messages about it on the Internet.

Tomlinson's girlfriend Eleanor Calder was also at the show. Payne's girlfriend Danielle Peazer is a backup dancer on the month-long 2013 "X Factor" U.K. tour, which ends on Feb. 28.

The seven acts on the tour were in the Top 7 on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2012: James Arthur, Jahmene Douglas, Christopher Maloney, Union J, Rylan Clark, Ella Henderson and District3.

The tour has been getting mostly positive reviews from the media.

On Feb. 8, 2013, the tour was at the LG Arena in Birmingham. The Express & Star reported that Arthur was the standout at the concert: "Series winner James Arthur was the true star of the live show on Saturday night and although he didn’t come out onto the stage until the very end, fans agreed his slick and heart-felt performance was well worth the wait, with his soulful voice sounding even better in the flesh than on TV. He performed a string of hits that helped him win The X Factor in December, including 'Hometown Glory,' 'Let’s Get It On,' 'Sexy and I Know It,' surrounded by half a dozen scantily clad female dancers, and the winner’s single 'Impossible.'"
