"X Factor" U.K. boy band One Direction is speaking out on behalf of the charity initiative Enough Food for Everyone If, which is aimed at helping end world hunger. One Direction and other stars participated in a public service announcement video that was released on January 23, 2013.
One Direction's Harry Styles, 18, says in the video: "One-third of children in sub Saharan Africa are malnourished."
One Direction's Zayn Malik, 20, adds: "Big corporations avoid paying millions to Africa every day. If we stop this, all of Africa could have enough food to eat."
Other celebrities in the video include actor Orlando Bloom, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, singer Angelique Kidjo, actor David Harewood ("Homeland") and TV host Myleene Klass.
