Pop group One Direction's cover of “One Way or Another” made an early debut on Tuesday. In a low-quality leak, the British-Irish band put their own twist on the Blondie classic.
“One Way or Another” is set to be this year's Comic Relief charity single in the U.K. One Direction's cover features a pop-rock sound with heavy guitar backing the guys' deep vocals. At the half-way point, the track becomes manic as the incessant “I wanna, wanna, wanna met ya” lyrics are looped over the final chorus. The guys are determined to rock and do so on their lively version of Blondie's hit.
The single follows One Direction's "Kiss You" from their "Take Me Home" album. "One Way or Another" will be released in the U.K. on February 17.
