While One Direction may be known for their good looks and great music, the talented British boy band members should also be recognized for their big hearts. Unreality TV reported this Tuesday, Jan. 15, that as Liam Payne and the other 1D lads prepare for their upcoming “Take Me Home” world tour, they participated in a charity visit to Ghana and did some filming for Comic Relief. Louis Tomlinson was just one of the members who took to his Twitter earlier today to talk about the experience and asked fans to donate to the worthy cause as well.
Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, and the other British boy band members were confirmed to have visited Ghana this week and helped raise money for Comic Relief. In addition to travelling to various locations, they met with the families who would receive financial assistance using the money earned from the charity and a future song released on a March soundtrack. While the boys continue to work hard for charity, One Direction is also expected to fly out to Tokyo this weekend for their first concert on their world tour as they begin filming the 1D movie.
Louis Tomlinson went to Twitter to tell his followers are positive the experience has been so far.
“So honored to be a part of @rednoseday . Met some beautiful people over in Ghana. Please donate big this year!”
