One Direction might be on holiday until the end of the year, but the band members are still checking in with the fans. On Saturday Liam Payne shared that he is hanging with the family and a snake. This isn’t your typical snake though. Sharing a picture online the star seemed attached to the snake.

“My aunties snake ahhhhhhh!” tweeted Liam Payne from his official Twitter account. “Meet Philis.”

Attaching a picture of the star holding the snake, there isn’t any doubt the fans were a little bit surprised to see the One Direction star holding the really long reptile.

One Direction isn’t expected to get back on the stage until 2014. The band might be taking a little bit more time than originally expected as rumors suggest that the band might take a two or three month hiatus. This might not be the best news for the 1D fans, but the British band might be reaching burn out as they have been working nonstop for the past few years.
