One Direction is getting some serious recognition at home. The British Boy band has just been nominated for the Best British Group for the upcoming 2013 BRIT Awards. There is honor to be nominated, but the fans can really make a win possible by voting for the popular band in the weeks ahead. Expressing excitement, Harry Styles shared with his fans on Thursday how delighted he was with the news.
“Thank you so much for the Brit nomination... Absolutely amazing! Can't believe we're among those groups. Thank you,” tweeted Harry Styles from his official Twitter account on Thursday.
One Direction might be talking about the 2013 BRIT Awards, but the band has said nothing about the People’s Choice Awards on Wednesday night. Winning two out of four categories, the artist actually lost to The Wanted for best new artist and then Katy Perry for best fans.
Hopefully the fans will get out and vote for the 2013 BRIT Awards to help One Direction win. It’s going to take thousands of votes to put the band on top.
