One Direction inspires One Erection condoms that promises up all night action

One Direction has inspired a product that their management team wants nothing to do with - condoms. The Daily Star reported on Sunday, May 4, that a U.S. based company has come out with a line of condoms cheekily called One Erection.

A promo photo of the packaging shows that it's modeled after the British boy band's "Up All Night" debut album cover. It reads "1E New Release, One Erection, Up All Night," above drawings of five smiling condoms that represent Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

The company promises that the condoms, available online, will deliver and keep customers happy. The people behind the condoms are apparently hoping that the product will be a hit as gag gifts. "Stay ‘UP ALL NIGHT’ with these FDA approved ONE ERECTION condoms. There is only one direction to go with these babies and that is UP! Great ice breaker at parties and bars," states the promotional blurb.

Not surprisingly, the fun-loving One Direction guys find the condoms to be hilarious. According to a source, once the guys heard about the condoms they joked about buying a few packets themselves. Their management team, however, isn't finding it so funny. Fearful of the condoms damaging the group's image and reputation, management is considering getting lawyers involved to stop the condom company from continuing to exploit the band's brand.

This isn't the first time that One Direction has been involved with condoms. The band was previously offered big bucks to come out with their own brand of condoms but turned down the offer.

Of course, the guys are so busy right now that they're probably not spending a lot of time worrying about some small company ripping off their brand. The British boy band is busy touring South America, playing in Montevideo, Uruguay on Tuesday, May 6, before continuing on to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday, May 8, and then Sao Paulo, Brazil on Saturday, May 10 and Sunday, May 11.
