One Direction fans have been talking all over the Internet about One Direction's video for "Kiss You," which premiered on Vevo on January 7, 2013. One aspect of the video that has caught many fans' attention is the playful flirting between One Direction's Harry Styles, 18, and Zayn Malik, 19.
In one scene in the video, Styles pretends to pinch Malik's nipples. And at the very end of the video, Malik kisses Styles on the cheek. Fans have given the Malik/Styles bromance the nickname "Zarry."
The entire video shows the members One Direction goofing around in different settings on a soundstage, such as riding stationary motorbikes, surfing, skiing and paying tribute to Elvis Presley's movie "Jailhouse Rock."
As previously reported, teaser clips from the video premiered on Vevo in the five days leading up to the video's premiere. Fans who were at the Bring 1D event in New York on December 4, 2012, got to see a sneak preview of the video.
"Kiss You" is the third single from One Direction's second album, "Take Me Home." One Direction was created on "The X Factor" U.K. in 2010 by putting together five singers who originally auditioned as soloists. One Direction came in third place on the show. Since then, One Direction's two albums ("Up All Night" and "Take Me Home") have been No. 1 hits in several countries, and the group's world tours have sold out quickly.
Styles and Malik have steady girlfriends. Malik and Little Mix's Perrie Edwards, 19, have been dating since April 2012. Styles and Grammy winner Taylor Swift, 23, went public with their romance in November 2012, but there are now reports that they broke up during the first week of January 2013. (Styles, Swift and their representatives aren't commenting.)
The other members of One Direction are Niall Horan, 19; Louis Tomlinson, 21; and Liam Payne, 19. Horan is unattached. Tomlinson has been dating University of Manchester student Eleanor Calder, 21, since late 2011. Payne and his 24-year-old dancer girlfriend, Danielle Peazer, began dating in late 2010, broke up in September 2012, and got back together in December 2012.
