One Direction fans in the United Kingdom might have felt a little slighted. The British boy band hasn’t had a 1D World in the Leeds area, but that is all about to change. On Tuesday One Direction took time to share with the fans that a new store in the UK is opening in Leeds.
“1D World is coming to Leeds! The pop-up shop opens 23rd March for 3 weeks!” tweeted One Direction from the band’s official Twitter account on Tuesday. The store will be open only days after the Stockholm pop up store was closed.
Different than other stores, it appears this 1D World won’t be open for the typical six weeks. Instead the store is going to be open for three weeks only, however this isn’t a tiny store as it has over 5,000 square feet and the prime location in the new shopping center, Trinity Leeds will be appealing to the fans.
1D World stores definitely are unique. Only open for a short amount of time, everything in the store is about One Direction. Catering to the fans, the band has opened the stores globally to share the best of the British band with the fans.
