One Book, One Michiana 2014: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

2014's One Book One Michiana selection is Frankenstein, Or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Shelley. Published in 1818, Frankenstein is considered one of the first examples of horror and science fiction literature. You can check the book out at the St. Joseph County and Elkhart County Public Libraries, which encourage as many people as possible in the community to read the same book at the same time.

In addition to reading the book, South Bend-area readers will have the opportunity to participate in a host of Frankenstein-related activities throughout the area from March 28 through May 3rd of this year. For the full list, visit http://www.libraryforlife.org/onebook/programs.html.
