Obamacare takes the cake.

What is the difference between Examiner.com stories and other media? There are many considerations in answering that, ranging from having many local boots on the ground to having people with specialized expertise to analyze and interpret news from multiple sources. In that regard, the stories you read here are not just a “link farm.” Sometimes, analysis may actually anticipate and predict outcomes.

Here is one example from the year in review of 1080 articles produced as the National Politics Examiner: Obamacare.

Filing a story while in London on January 2, 2013, the news was that the U.S. government would remain open by passing a budget. Of course the crisis continued throughout the year with torment and turmoil while conservatives sought to leverage their way by shutting down the government and blackmailing the President.
