Once Upon a Vine wine party toasts Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella

Once Upon a Vine wines toast Cinderella
Diane Letulle

A magical broadway show and a California wine that looks like it came from an enchanted forest combined for a wonderful party recently after a performance of Rodgers + Hammerstein's Cinderella at Broadway Theater.

A number of cast members, including the current star of the show, pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen, were on hand greeting guests and socializing.

The party celebrated the award-winning costumes designed by Ivey Long, who won his 6th Tony Award for Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA's. The show marked Mr. Long’s 6th Tony Award for best costume design.

The wine of the evening was a fitting tribute to the magical stage world of the show: Once Upon a Vine wines. The stand-out wine of the evening was Once Upon a Vine Pinot Noir, which offered red fruit, balance, and elegance. Priced at just $12.99, this is a wine I would definitely add to my list of affordable favorites. There was also a full-bodied Chardonnay with hints of buttery oak notes, as well as a crisp Sauvignon Blanc and Big Bad Red Blend, for those who enjoy a more fruit-forward red.

The production of Cinderella is full of energy, color, and magic - a perfect theater experience for families and all lovers of magic and romance.
