‘Once Upon a Time:’ What’s in store for Belle and Rumple in season 2 spoilers

Once Upon a Time” has delivered a very up-and-down story line for the underdog couple of Belle and Rumplestiltskin. On Jan. 28, Wetpaint shared a little of what’s in store for these star-crossed lovers for the rest of season 2.

So far we’ve watched our favorite couple face kidnappings, differences in personality, fights and even a break and most recently, a case of amnesia caused by Belle crossing Storybrooke’s town line. At least all of that means we’ve seen quite of bit of Rumple and Belle.

Jane Espenson, a writer for “Once Upon a Time,” replied to a fan’s tweet about seeing more of Belle and Rumple’s story by saying, "We know that. We love Emilie and she is in lots of upcoming episodes." She followed it up by saying we can expect “a lot more of Rumple and Gold in upcoming episodes.”

Episode 14, “Manhattan” will take Rumple’s search for his son to New York and will have a strong Rumple/Gold focus. We’ve also heard that stranger Greg will be questioning Belle about what she saw at the Storybrooke town line the night he crashed and she lost her memory. It sounds like we’ll get to see a good deal of our favorite characters in the coming episodes.

Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until Feb. 10 to see more of “Once Upon a Time.”
