"Once Upon a Time" fans who ship Swan Queen weren't very happy when they saw a tweet from Michael Coleman, the actor who plays Happy on the show.
It looks like Coleman deleted the offending tweet, but a fan captured a screencap of the Dec. 20 message. It read, "It's funny how rude the #SnowQueen fans have become. It's noticed by all cast. Jen & Lana included. Doesn't look good on you."
In case you have no idea what Coleman is talking about, he's referring to the Swan Queen shippers who want Emma Swan and the Evil Queen to become a couple on "Once Upon a Time." "Jen & Lana" refers to the actresses who play the characters, Jennifer Morrison and Lana Parrilla. Apparently Coleman is really confused by the coupling, because he mistakenly used the hashtag "#SnowQueen" instead of "#SwanQueen."
If Michael was getting attacked by fans, he had every right to lash out at them. However, it wasn't fair of him to call all the Swan Queen fans rude. He also upset the shippers by implying that Jennifer Morrison and Lana Parrilla think negatively of all of them. However, the actresses were quick to assure fans that this isn't the case.
Morrison tweeted, "I just woke up to find out someone has in appropriately spoken about swan queen. No one should speak on my behalf about this ever!" She went on to let her fans know that she doesn't look down on any of the pairings that they're rooting for. "As I have said before I love all of the ships surrounding Emma: swanfire, captainswan, and swanqueen," she wrote. She went on to chastise Michael Coleman by writing, "@1MichaelColeman your comments were totally out of line and I resent that I spent my day dealing with repercussions for your actions."
Lana Parrilla also addressed the comments. "TBC, @1MichaelColeman doesn't speak 4 me. I love all of our fans & appreciate ur love for our characters! #SwanQueen #EvilRegals #ABC #OUAT."
Swan Queen fans probably died when they saw the objects of their obsession acknowledging their existence.
However, it sounds like some of them gave Michael Coleman a really hard time before the actresses became aware of the Twitter feud. One of his tweets about the crazy ordeal read, "Do people still like #OUAT? I've just had to block over 3 dozen people in last 10 minutes. #SwanQueen shippers why are you so hateful?" Lana tried to get everyone to calm down by simply tweeting, "#NoHate #NoBullying."
So are you a Swan Queen shipper?
