'Once Upon a Time' star Ginnifer Goodwin on a darker Mary Margaret

Up until this point in the popular fairytale drama, Mary Margaret has been a goody two-shoes that always sides with good no matter whether it is something that is in her best interest or not. On March 4 Hollywood Life reports that Ginnifer Goodwin reports that she is no longer going to let Cora destroy her family.

While at PaleyFest, Goodwin shared that Snow White is going through an identity crisis right now and she doesn't know who she is if she isn't the Snow White that she can read about in story books. She is determined to kill Cora and protect her family at any costs but at the same time, it might push Prince Charming away as he's ready to head to the Enchanted Forest and rebuild his land and get back to his castle.

Lana Parrilla, who plays Regina the Evil Queen is also excited in the shift in Mary Margaret. She will become darker and she is excited that she will finally have someone to challenge her as Snow White knows too many of her secrets and is likely the only one that can really take her down. Lana says that she feels fans deserve this darker side of snow as she has always been sickeningly sweet even in the face of evil and bad things happening to her.

Are you ready to see the dark side of Snow White? Will Mary Margaret use her "death candle" to end Cora's life to save someone elses?
