After conjuring up theories based on yesterday’s brief synopsis for ‘Tiny,’ we can get some of the facts straight. Today, ABC released the following episode description:
“Tiny” – Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke – hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line -- and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg (Ethan Embry) questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident.Meanwhile, in the fairytale land that was and against his brothers’ wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans – whose intentions may not be so noble -- on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills,Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Lee Arenberg as Leroy/Grumpy, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Beverley Elliott as Granny, Alan Dale as Spencer/King George, David-Paul Grove as Doc, Faustino Di Bauda as Sleepy, Jeffrey Kaiser as Dopey, Michael Coleman as Happy, Mig Macario as Bashful, Ethan Embry as Greg Mendell, Jorge Garcia as Giant/Anton, Abraham Benrubi as Arlo, C. Ernst Hearth as Abraham, Andre Tricoteux as Argyle, Ingrid Torrance as severe nurse, Cassidy Freeman as Jack, Todd Thomson as business man and Byron Bertram as TSA agent.
”Tiny” was written by Christine Boylan & Kalinda Vazquez and directed by Guy Ferland.
If you look closely Oncers, you will see that ‘Smallville’s’ Cassidy Freeman has been cast as Jack. Well we definitely didn’t see that coming. If you’re familiar with Freeman’s work, then you already know she can be a force to be reckoned with. It will be very interesting to see how she met Anton. What do you think about the casting twist? Do you think Jack might pop up in Storybrooke?
We also find out that Anton has an axe to grind with David. However, since it is "a case of mistaken identity," one can only wonder what David’s brother did to anger the gentle Giant. We know King George recruited David to pose a prince when his brother died. Could it have been his brother’s bones that Hook and Emma stumbled upon when they paid Anton a visit in “Tallahassee”? Maybe we will learn a little bit more about the back-story Josh Dallas spoke of earlier this year. Do you think King George waged a war upon the giants?
As we mentioned earlier, Belle will be struggling with her memory, but for how long? Perhaps her conversation with Greg will give us an idea of exactly how much she remembers. Hopefully her amnesia won’t last for too long because many RumBelle fans are anxious to see these love birds get back together.
This description also says that Rumple "attempts" to leave and search for his son. Do you think Rumple will be able to venture out into the world? Do you think Emma and Henry might take the quest upon themselves if Rumple can't go?
It is a shame we have to wait a few more weeks after this Sunday’s episode to see how everything pans out. Let’s hope “In the Name of the Brother” doesn’t leave us with a pressing cliffhanger or else we will be freaking out until Feb. 10.
