When season 3 of “Once Upon a Time” returns in 2 weeks, Neal and Emma will once again be separated and it looks like that’s just the way the Charmings want it to be. According to a Feb. 21 report on Wetpaint, Snow White and Prince Charming, aka mom and dad, want Neal to leave Emma alone. There are some spoilers below so read on at your own risk.

Regina’s efforts to spare everyone harm from the reversal of her curse sent Emma and Henry off to live in New York with happy but false memories. When episode 13, “New York City Serenade” airs on March 9, that’s where we’ll find them – happy and in New York.

Neal, however, wants to mix things up a bit. He wants to go after them. He’s done it before, finding a way to Neverland to help rescue his family. Now he wants to find a way to get to Emma and Henry again.

Snow White and Prince Charming have other ideas. They want Emma to be happy and they know that thanks to those false memories, she is. It’s not that the Charmings dislike Neal. They just want Emma to have her happy ending and think Neal should let things be the way they are.

Whether or not Neal accepts their advice or not remains to be seen. We do know from the previews that somehow Hook finds his way to New York and tries to get Emma to return with him to help save everyone.

Don’t miss the midseason premiere of “Once Upon a Time” which airs March 9 with “New York City Serenade” on ABC.
