After waiting three weeks for a new episode of ‘Once Upon A Time,’ the ABC hit is gifting fans with a generous dose of scenes from Sunday’s highly-anticipated episode. In “Tiny,” Cora brings Anton the Giant to Storybrooke, hoping he will destroy the town and kill Prince Charming. Meanwhile, Emma and Henry leave Storybrooke with Rumple and begin their search for his son, Baelfire.
A fairytale flashback (in the embedded video) offers our first look at Jacqueline a.k.a. Jack in action. She offers Anton the Giant a magical mushroom that will temporarily shrink his size while he walks among the humans. Sounds like the mushroom could have come from Wonderland. What do you think?
Promotional stills showed Charming fighting with Hook while he and Snow tried to free Anton from his cage. However, this second sneak peek at a scuffle in Storybrooke reveals an enraged Anton lashing out at Prince Charming. How will they convince the angry giant that this is simply a case of mistaken identity?
The third clip provides another fairytale flashback, which shows us a comparatively small Anton asking his fellow giants to give the humans another chance. Anton faces the most opposition from the large and authoritative Arlo, played by Abraham Benrubi (‘E.R.,’ ‘Memphis Beat’).
Anton wreaks havoc on the people of Storybrooke in the fourth video. It will be interesting to see how Charming & Co. gain the Giant’s trust. Any predictions on what they will do? Does Charming ask for Grumpy, hoping he can use fairy dust to shrink Anton?
Finally, we see what Rumple, Emma and Henry are up to in the last two sneak peeks from “Tiny.”
The fifth clip leaves us hanging as we watch Rumple, Emma and Henry drive over the Storybrooke borderline in Rumpy’s Cadillac. Will the enchanted shawl protect Rumple from the curse?
The final video answers the questions posed in the previous clip and allows us to see Rumple’s vulnerable side. Despite his anxiety over this new adventure abroad, Rumpy’s tongue remains sharper than ever as he quips at a snarky man who taunts him when he struggles with the endless demands of airport security: “Have you ever been impaled upon a cane before?” Rumple’s wit never ceases to amuse us. Clever retorts aside, this scene raises a very interesting question: is Emma’s magical ability growing stronger? Is she more aware of magical capability or is she just trusting her gut and hoping for the best?
Judging by these sneak peeks, “Tiny” looks like it will be another brilliant episode in ‘OUAT’s’ amazing second season. What do you think of our little glimpse of Cassidy Freeman as Jack? What are you most excited to see in this episode? Any hopes or predictions for the episode?
