'Once Upon a Time' spoilers: Lana Parrilla talks Robin Hood romance

"Once Upon a Time" fans will finally get to see Regina (Lana Parrilla) meet Robin Hood (Sean Maguire) when the show returns on Sunday.

During a March 6 interview with Access Hollywood, Lana Parrilla talked about the beginning of the Outlaw Queen romance. "They do meet up, but she doesn’t know who he is," she said. "They actually have to work together, but it’s not what you think." It sounds like Robin's lion tattoo is going to stay covered up for a while so that Regina doesn't realize that she's interacting with her true love. But how will they be working together, and does it have something to do with the arrival of wicked Zelena (Rebecca Mader)?

Lana went on to elaborate about their meeting. "There’s a slight flirtation, there’s a little flirtation, but the way I kind of describe it is they're 'romancing the stone,'" she said. "There’s just a lot of tension between them, which is great to see on screen, but in fairy tale land, like I said, Regina’s heart is so broken and really closed off to anyone. … She’s really given up and she has a secret up her sleeve and it’s quite jarring when you see it. And so at this stage, she’s not open to love, she’s not looking for any replacements or anyone to fill the void. Right now she’s mourning." Regina is just full of secrets, isn't she? Hopefully her secret doesn't put her life in danger – it's already been revealed that a season regular will be killed off when "Once Upon a Time" returns.

But back to Outlaw Queen. Lana's "romancing the stone" reference might be literal since Zelena wears a huge emerald necklace. In the "Romancing the Stone" movie, a man and a woman find love during their quest to find a giant emerald. Perhaps Regina and Robin team up to try to snag Zelena's stone. TV Rage reports that Regina and Robin have "quite the meet-cute" in "New York City Serenade," and the thief's outdoorsy scent has quite an effect on her. She says that Robin "smells like forest."

TV Rage also reports that viewers will find out how Christopher Gorham's character is connected to Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Henry (Jared Gilmore). There are also going to be plenty of Swan Queen moments to swoon over, and Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) gets plenty of witty one-liners. But will Gorham's character be a threat to Swan Queen?

Speaking of Colin, Lana Parrilla revealed something cute about his bromance with Josh Dallas. Colin plays guitar and sings, and Josh has a great voice, so the guys recently went on a karaoke date. Now if only their characters could get along that great on the show.
