Everyone knows that Hook thinks that Mr. Gold is the alligator that stole his hand. On Feb. 28 Wetpaint shares that he has gone to underhanded measures to bring Rumpelstiltskin/ Mr. Gold to his demise, especially now that Cora and Regina have pushed him out of their scheme to find the dagger.
While Gold is in New York spending time with his son, Neal, Emma, and newly discovered grandson, Henry, Hook comes around and stabs him while he stands on the street waiting for Neal and Henry to return with a camera for their subway ride. Only Emma is left to witness the ordeal.
When Neal and Henry show up, Neal utters a surprised, "Papa?" as he sees his father bleeding on the ground. What is more surprising than that, is that Neal/ Bae recognizes Hook! There is some speculation as to whether Bae will also end up being Peter Pan, since he recognizes Hook and their paths haven't crossed yet that fans know of.
We can only assume that Gold will be fine, but we don't really know and can't really speculate because he isn't in his magical world where he can heal himself when he needs to. Can medical science repair a magical being? Fans will have to tune in to find out.
