Now that Mr. Gold/Rumplestiltskin has reconnected with his long lost son Neal/Baelfire in the last episode, fans are wondering what to expect from the upcoming episode 15, “The Queen Is Dead” when Once Upon A Time” returns to airwaves in March. According to a U.S. and Canadian promo review done by Wetpaint on Feb. 18, the surprises just keep coming. Be advised – there are spoilers ahead!
Cora, Regina, Mary Margaret and David
According to ABC’s synopsis of episode 15, Mary Margaret discovers Cora and Regina’s plan to get hold of Rumplestiltskin’s dagger, the very dagger that is the source of his power. She along with David and Mother Superior undertake the mission of preventing that from happening.
In one scene from the promo, Mary Margaret is seen telling Regina “she doesn’t care about you.” Most likely the “she” is Cora.
In another instance, Snow White and Charming go head to head with Cora and Regina, this time with Snow warning them, "I will not let you win, not again!"
Regina and Cora are seen digging in the forest, presumably for the dagger when Cora promises Regina she will kill anyone Regina wants with the dagger.
Mr. Gold, Emma, Neal and Hook
Gold is still in New York trying to patch things up with Neal. Hook is seen attacking Davis in one clip and in another, he is seen attacking Gold in New York. The Captain has recovered his hook and stabs Gold in the heart.
Emma asks Gold who seems to be injured already if there is a “dagger hidden in Storybrooke that’s the source all your power?” Neal/Baelfire seems genuinely concerned for dear old dad when he says "There's gotta be some way we can save you," with tears in his eyes.
The last clip in the promo lets fans know that Bae already knows Hook and that he had been to other worlds before coming here.
Could Bae have been one of the Lost Boys? Will Gold survive his injury? Will Cora and Regina get their hands on the dagger? Find out on the next episode of “Once Upon a Time” on Sunday, March 3 at 7 p.m.
