Some major "Once Upon A Time" spoiler news broke on Jan. 20, as Spoiler TV reported that the creators of the fairy tale series, Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis, said that a major character will die in the second half of the current season. According to the creators, the only person who is safe is Robert Carlyle, whose Rumplestiltskin already sacrificed himself earlier in the season.
Here is a look at three characters who could die in the final half of the "Once Upon A Time" third season.
You have to consider that if the creators are talking about a major "Once Upon A Time" character dying, it is either hype that will not pay off or it will be a major game changer. Regina, the Evil Queen, has been a constant antagonist since the first episode. She is the person who has made Emma's life hell, and one way to really shake things up would be to eliminate this villain and set up a new rival to Emma to carry the show onward.
Rumplestiltskin sacrificed himself to get rid of the evil Peter Pan, and honestly, that really leaves little room for Hook to stick around. Hook traveled back to help Emma and Henry, and with Pan seemingly out of the way, there is little left for Hook to do. Of course, killing off Hook at this time won't really effect the show too much since his purpose has been served.
Honestly, the death that seems to have the biggest impact would be that of Neal. Now, he isn't a super important character on the show, but his death would have a major impact on the other characters, including Emma and Henry. Honestly, killing Neal would set up some huge changes for Emma and Henry and would also possibly set up someone to be a major nemesis down the line.
