‘Once Upon a Time’ spoiler: Rose McGowan is young Cora; deals with Rumpel

Once Upon a Time” is going to put its own twist on the classic fairytale when it reveals how Rumpelstiltskin and the miller’s daughter came to have an understanding. Episode 16, “The Miller’s Daughter” will feature Rose McGowan as a young Cora according to a report on Feb. 21 by Hypable.

The former “Charmed” star will be suiting up as Cora in an episode that will finally reveal how the relationship between Cora and Rumpelstiltskin came to be.

To properly anticipate episode 16, you need to go back to the original Grimm fairytale, “Rumpelstiltskin. IN the story, the miller lies to the king and convinces him that his daughter can take simple straw and spin it into gold. The king has her imprisoned so she can make him piles of gold which, of course, she cannot do. Rumpelstiltskin appears to her and offers to solve her problem. He will spin the gold she needs in exchange for her first born child.

Since Cora is the miller’s daughter, does this mean she promised to give him Regina? Maybe we will find out Cora had another child which she gave to Rumpel and we have yet to meet.

ABC will air “Once Upon a Time” episode 16 “The Miller’s Daughter” on March 10 at 7 p.m.

What do you think we will learn when the secret of “The Miller’s Daughter” is revealed?
