'Once Upon a Time' sneak peek for season 3, episode 14 'The Tower'

Rapunzel is about to let down her hair in the Enchanted Forest. On Sunday, March 16 Wetpaint Entertainment posted a sneak preview for "The Tower," the upcoming fourteenth episode of the third season of "Once Upon a Time," which is about the introduce the character of Rapunzel.

Alexandra Metz as Rapunzel

The thirty second promo reveals the episode will have a darkness to it, which the series creators previously hinted towards. Rapunzel, played by actress Alexandra Metz, will be locked away in a tower in the forest much like the original story. Prince Charming on his horse manages to find her and she lets down her hair. Charming wants to save her but it may be too late.

Meanwhile in Storybrooke, Zelena is still keeping Mr. Gold hostage in a secret room. Hook, Mary Margaret and Emma are still trying to figure out what is going on with the flying monkeys. Hook and Emma decide to track down the Wicked Witch and face the new evil that has entered the land.

There are shots of a hooded figure in the woods that later appears near Rapunzel's tower and this could be the evil witch from the story. The episode seems to take place almost entirely in the dark, with lightning strikes, creepy dolls with spinning heads and unknown shadow creatures.

"The Tower" will air on Sunday, March 23 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Tune in to meet Rapunzel and see how her character fits into the story for the second half of the season. It's unclear if she will be featured in other episodes or will have a connection to someone in the town.
