The winter finale of the third season of the popular fairytale drama "Once Upon a Time" will take place next week, and it looks like Storybrooke is no longer a safe place. On Sunday, December 8 Wetpaint Entertainment posted a sneak peek for the upcoming eleventh episode entitled "Going Home," which refers to the original home of all the characters: The Enchanted Forest.
The thirty second preview does not give away too much information, except set up the idea that once again a curse will take over the town. Now that the everyone has been reunited in Storybrooke, they can all work together to save magic and Storybrooke. If the curse hits them again everyone will lose their memories and Emma won't be able to save them.
The cursed purple magic smoke is prominent in the clip, as well as some green smoke moving fast through the forest. Emma, Neal, Hook, Mary Margaret, Regina, Belle and David are running through the town together looking for something. The rest of the town meets them on main street once the town has been surround be smoke, according to Leroy.
Meanwhile, Peter Pan is being held by Mr. Gold inside his shop, but Pan seems to get the upper hand and attack Mr. Gold so he can escape and unleash the curse. Regina is shown using her magic and raising her hands to the sky possibly to stop the curse from spreading, and meaning the Evil Queen must save the town she created with the first curse.
David, Mary Margaret, Emma and Henry all hug as a family as Regina looks troubled while her voiceover suggests that everyone will return to the Enchanted Forest. Mary Margaret is covering her mouth so it's possible someone is hurt or something is happening to the town. Hook and Emma appear to be having an intense moment together as they stare as one another.
The promo doesn't reveal what tricks the characters have up their sleeves to stop Pan from destroying the town. The show creators have hinted that a new evil will be introduced in the winter finale, which means Pan might be stopped once and for all. "Going Home" airs on Sunday, December 15 at 8 p.m. on ABC. Tune in to find out what happens to Storybrooke and whether or not the characters are sent home. The series will return with new episodes in March 2014.
