"Once Upon a Time" fans got a glimpse of one "Frozen" character that will be appearing on season 4. Although her face wasn't shown, co-creator Adam Horowitz did confirm that it was Elsa that showed up on the season finale. So what else can viewers expect when the show returns next season? On May 13, ScreenRant revealed that there may be more "Frozen" characters headed to Storybrooke.
There were suspicions for a while that "Frozen" princesses might appear on "Once Upon a Time" season 4, but now that it has been confirmed, fans are excited. Adam Horowitz and fellow "OUAT" creator Eddy Kitsis spoke to TV Line about Elsa. Even though some people believe that she might be the next villain, Kitsis explained that she was just misunderstood.
It seems that Elsa might not be the only "Frozen" character to come to Storybrooke. According to Entertainment Weekly, Horowitz hinted that there might be at least one other character from the movie that may appear on "Once Upon a Time" season 4. However, he wouldn't give any hints as to who else could be seen.
As for the other characters, Regina is angry and hurt that Marian has shown up. Emma saved her from death and brought her back from the past. However, she didn't realize that the woman was connected romantically to Robin Hood. But don't expect Regina to react how she might have back in the first season. Regina has evolved and changed, plus it has been said by the creators that they are going forwards, not backwards. It will be interesting how the new and evolved Regina will deal with this type of pain.
What do you think of Elsa appearing on "Once Upon a Time" season 4? What other "Frozen" characters do you think will show up? Do you have any theories on Elsa's storyline and how do you think Regina will deal with what Emma has done?
