"Once Upon a Time" co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have never been shy about revealing spoilers, although there are some things they won't tell. As fans know, Rapunzel will be introduced when the second half of season 3 airs, but she won't be like her fairy tale counterpart according to a Feb. 10 report by TV Guide. There is also the question of what will happen to Belle in the upcoming episodes.

Viewers that remember the fairy tale of Rapunzel when they were children recall a beautiful girl with long hair that draped down a tower. This is not going to be the Rapunzel that fans will see on the show. Horowitz said that they are doing their own spin on the character. Kitsis added,

"We went a little darker and freakier. A little more horror story in the vein of [the 2004 movie] The Grudge."

Now that definitely sounds interesting and leads to all kinds of theories about the character.

Alexandra Metz has been cast for the role of Rapunzel and she will be visited by Prince Charming (Josh Dallas.) However, there will be a hooded foe who will also be paying her a visit. Some are speculating that it could be the Wicked Witch. Rebecca Mader, who will play the new villain insists that she can't tell fans anything, so only time will tell who the hooded enemy is.

As far as Belle's future is concerned, there are rumors that she may be the major character that will die in "Once Upon a Time" season 3. However, Wet Paint reported that Emilie de Raven's character may survive the season. Edward Kitsis was asked if viewers would see Belle's life before Rumple and he responded,

"Not this season, but we plan to at some point."

What do you think will happen in "Once Upon a Time" season 3? How will Rapunzel be made darker and freaky? Who will the hooded menace be? Will Belle survive the season? Fans will have to wait for the show to return to find out for sure.
