Peter Pan may be gone but Captain Hook is here to stay. On Friday, January 31 Wetpaint Entertainment posted spoilers for the upcoming second half of the third season of "Once Upon a Time," and it seems that Captain Hook will play a major role in helping save Storybrooke.
In the midseason finale, Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) managed to find Emma's apartment in New York City, but she had no memory of him and immediately kicked him out. Now it seems that Hook will have to convince Emma that magic is real for the second time. Shwo co-creator Edward Kitsis explained that Emma "will be very wary" of Hook since she had no memory of him helping her in Storybrooke or Neverland.
Hook will also be featured in the upcoming seventeenth episode of the season, entitled "The Jolly Roger," which is the name of his pirate ship. That episode will air in April and is expected to feature the villain Blackbeard, so it's possible there will be more backstory in Neverland.
The ABC fairytale drama will return with "New York City Serenade" on Sunday, March 9 at 9 p.m. on ABC. Tune in the meet the new villain for the second half of the season: the Wicked Witch of the West. However, the series is putting their own spin on the character. Emma and Hook may also continue their relationship in the second half, and will be sharing the screen a lot more now that Hook has located her and Henry.
