The sheriff is back in town. The critically acclaimed ABC fairytale drama "Once Upon a Time" will be revealing a familiar face on the upcoming episode "Welcome to Storybrooke" which is the seventeenth episode of season two. On Thursday, March 14 Wetpaint reported that actor Jamie Dornan would return to the role of Sheriff Graham.
The Irish actor is still considered a series regular on the fantasy show and last appeared in season finale episode "A Land Without Magic" after being killed in a previous episode. This will be first appearance of the sheriff in the new season, which will feature flashbacks to the early days of the magic curse in the small town. "Welcome to Storybrooke" takes place in 1983, presumably right after the spell was cast and while the town waits for Emma to grow up.
Dornan will have scenes with Lana Parrilla (Regina) and more backstory will be given about their relationship. Viewers will see how Regina was controlling Graham from the start and was wielding considerable power over the town before his demise led to Emma being sheriff.
"Once Upon a Time" airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC. Check out the official website for more information about the show and characters. The flashback in the upcoming episode will probably clear up some of the questions about the curse from season one and continue the drama into the next season.
