Tinker Bell (Rose McIver) is coming! This Sunday we will finally meet Neverland’s famed fairy and get a little bit of her back-story, which includes a history with Regina.
Judging by the slideshow of episode stills, Tinker Bell and Regina used to be gal-pals. It’ll be interesting to see if they really are friends or if Regina is just manipulating Tink for her own agenda. It looks like Tinker Bell may have met Regina before she transformed into the Evil Queen, which makes you wonder if Tink helped Regina make her way into Snow White’s palace. The photos also give us a glimpse of Neal who seems to be hanging in his dad’s old pad judging by all the books in the background.
Here is the official episode synopsis for “Quite a Common Fairy”:
“Quite a Common Fairy” – In their continuing quest to find Peter Pan's hideout and save Henry, Hook suggests tracking down Tinker Bell in the hope that she will lead them straight to his camp. Pan reveals to Henry why he has brought him to Neverland and in the Enchanted Forest, Neal has a plan that could transport him to Emma, but it would involve using one of Robin Hood's most precious possessions. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Tinker Bell offers to help Regina improve her life, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, OCTOBER 13 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

It sounds like this episode could be a game-changer on many levels. Will Robin Hood’s plan successfully transport Bae to Neverland? Is Little John there to help Robin Hood with his plan? Can Pan’s confession help Henry gain the upper-hand and find a way out of captivity? What offer does Tinker Bell make to Regina? Does Regina take her up on it? Do they have a falling out? Will Tinker Bell help the gang find Henry? What role does the Blue Fairy play in all of this? Did she send Tinker Bell to Regina?
UPDATE: SNEAK PEEK
Some of our questions have been answered in this sneak peek from "Quite a Common Fairy". Tinker Bell offers Regina a second chance at finding love! Over the summer, Horowitz and Kitsis teased that Regina would have a new love interest this season. Any idea who her new beau could be?
Over the course of the series we have learned that Regina has only loved a few people/things in her life: Daniel, Henry and Magic. In this scene we realize that this flashback takes place while Regina is unhappily married to King Leopold and she complains about being a powerless queen. Tinker Bell offers her love, but maybe the love Regina seeks will not be what we would obviously expect. What if Regina "falls in love" with magic and power rather than an actual person? Although the guest credits don't show it, maybe Giancarlo Esposito will surprisingly reprise his role as the Genie/Magic Mirror and give Regina the kind of "love" she really wants. What do you think, Oncers?
