If you enjoy surprises, then you may have been disappointed this week. ABC did not hold back while promoting Sunday’s highly anticipated episode featuring a moment that certain shippers have been waiting for. If you’ve managed to avoid the super spoiler so far, then avert your gaze. For those of you who can’t wait to be spoiled or want to cherish the scene again…ENJOY!
Here is ABC official description for the Hook-centric episode, “Good Form:”
“Good Form” – With the deadly Dreamshade coursing through David’s body and close to death, Hook takes him on one last journey to find a sextant that could help them decipher a map that would lead them off Neverland. Meanwhile, in the Fairy Tale Land that was, Killian Jones – aka Hook – and his brother, Captain Liam, sail off under orders of the King to find a powerful indigenous plant on an uncharted land that could help heal any injury, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Michael Raymond-James as Baelfire/Neal Cassidy, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Robbie Kay as Pan, Skyler Gisondo as Devin, Bernard Curry as Liam, Parker Croft as Felix and Jordan Schartner as sailor.
”Good Form” was written by Christine Boylan & Daniel T. Thomsen and directed by Jon Amiel.
Check out the slideshow to see images of a pre-hook Killian Jones and his brother, Liam (Bernard Curry). We also see David biding his family a tearful farewell before going off with Hook to find the sextant and perhaps that magical plant that claims to cure any injury.
Wow! Judging by the look on both of their faces, this smooch packs quite a punch. Emma acts like she kisses Hook to prove a point, but could she have romantic feelings for him? Maybe she feels guilty for kissing Hook so shortly after her beloved Neal’s “death.” Hook, on the other hand, has been clear about his attraction towards Emma. Sure he flirts with almost every woman he comes across, but it has always been a little different with Emma. What could make this moment even more intense? If someone caught them kissing! The embedded episode promo shows David warning Hook to stay away from his daughter. It looks like the Charming-Hook bromance is coming to a quick and bitter end.
To be honest, I may have enjoyed the moment after even more than the kiss itself. Hearing Hook say “As you wish” made me smile. I’m hoping it is a sweet allusion to ‘The Princess Bride,’ featuring yet another charming pirate: Cary Elwes as Westley a.k.a. the Dread Pirate Roberts. In the movie, “As you wish” was Westley’s way of saying “I love you.” Could Hook be falling in love with Emma?
This clip also spoils another huge event: Hook saves Charming! In the past, the King sends Killian and Liam on a quest for a cure-all plant. Hook probably remembers the plant and uses it to heal Charming. He may have found a cure, but will he find a way off Neverland? Let’s hope the sextant helps before it is too late to save Henry from Peter Pan’s influence.
A second scene, which aired during Jennifer Morrison’s interview on Good Morning America, shows us that Henry may not have been completely manipulated by Peter Pan after all. Watch this video to see what Emma discovers. Is the Lost Boy lying? Is Henry still trying to fight his way out of Pan’s camp?
What do you think, Oncers? Are you excited for “Good Form”? Are you disappointed that this moment was leaked out in advance? Do you want to see Hook and Emma together? Do you think Henry is playing along with Peter Pan’s scheme or is he feeling more at home with the Lost Boys?
