It will be a while before season 4 of "Once Upon a Time" returns to ABC, but fans are already wondering what will happen with the characters. Two characters that viewers are talking about are Hook and Emma. On May 27, Carter Matt revealed what actress Jennifer Morrison thinks about the characters becoming a couple.

Morrison spoke to TV Line about the relationship and she is surprised about Hook and Emma possibly becoming an item. She said that at the beginning of the show, she never would have anticipated it. However, that was then and this is now. For Hook and Emma to be together on "Once Upon a Time" season 4 makes sense and she gave some reasons why.

Jennifer explained that Hook and Emma have been through similar things. They both have had to fight just to live and are survivors. They both also do whatever they need to protect the ones they care about. This includes doing some bad things, but they have good hearts. Morrison also believes that the two characters see a lot of themselves in each other.

It will be interesting to see what happens with the characters in "Once Upon a Time" season 4. If they do pursue a relationship, things might get complicated. Will Hook be able to stop himself from going back to evil? Can Emma really trust him completely?

She just might according to what she told TV Line. She said that Hook really pushed for her to be true to herself, including her being the most powerful version of Emma Swan. Because of this, he has earned a lot of trust from her. She adds that by Hook empowering Emma, it is a good place for a relationship to start.

What do you think about Hook and Emma becoming a couple on "Once Upon a Time?" Are you rooting for them or would you like to see the characters with other people?
