"Once Upon a Time" is going back in time for the season 3 finale, but next season isn't going to be set in the Enchanted Forest of the past. Instead fans are going to be introduced to a new realm. However, Rebecca Mader's Zelena might still be the big bad during season 4.

According to a May 7 report by TV Guide, executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis recently partook in a quick Q&A about the finale and what's going to happen during season 4. Kitsis said that the show is "absolutely" going to explore new realms next season, and a recent promo promises that Oncers will find out where the show is going next during the last few minutes of the finale.

It's hard to guess where things are going based off of the little that's known about the finale. Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) travel back in time to the Enchanted Forest, and they have to tread lightly to make sure that they don't change the future. Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming (Josh Dallas) aren't true loves yet and Regina (Lana Parrilla) is still angry and evil, so there's a lot that could wrong if they mess up.

Perhaps Captain Swan ends up traveling to a new realm on their quest to get back to the future. Prince Eric revealed that all that separates Agrabah from the Enchanted Forest is a vast desert, and Aladdin hasn't been introduced yet. A genie can't change the laws of time, but maybe he could send Hook and Emma back where they belong.

Michael Socha is set to join "Once Upon a Time" as a series regular during season 4 after being the best thing about "Once Upon a Time in Wonderland." This makes it easy to guess that someone is going to end up in the realm of the Red Queen and her knave. However, it would be nice if the show decided to go to a land that wasn't explored in the canceled spinoff.

Other ideas include a trip to Narnia or the icy world of Arendelle. Either land would be an excellent place to introduce a Snow Queen character based on popular "Frozen" princess Elsa. Captain Swan could also head to Camelot in hopes of getting help from Merlin. In case you don't recall, "The Sword in the Stone" character is capable of time travel, and Charming has referenced the wizard from Camelot before.

The show has already introduced fans to Medusa and Pandora's Box, so it's also possible that a trip to ancient Greece is in the cards. It would be very unexpected for the show to head to 1920 New Orleans, but surely "Once Upon a Time" will introduce characters from "The Princess and the Frog" sometime soon. Emma, Regina, and Snow would make pretty adorable flappers.

In unrelated "OUAT" news that concerns a green character, Wicked fans will be happy to know that Rebecca Mader is definitely returning for season 4. There's also a possibility that Dorothy (Matreya Scarrwener) pops up again. As far as the season 3 finale goes, Horowitz and Kitsis teased that it will manage to reveal how Hook found Emma even though it's going to be flashback-free. The producers also promised that somebody is going to die.

Are you looking forward to seeing Captain Swan stuck together in the Enchanted Forest of the past? And where do you think that the show will head to next?
