Winter is coming to Storybrooke. As seen in the clip from the Season Three finale from "Once Upon A Time" that had everyone talking - Elsa has indeed come to Storybrooke. Today the news broke as to who will play the Ice Queen in Season Four of "Once Upon A Time." Australian actress Georgina Haig will "Let It Go" when she joins previously announced cast members Scott Michael Foster as Kristoff and Elizabeth Lail as Anna. Haig is currently playing Officer Lee Ann Marcus on CBS's "Reckless," but is best know as Etta, the daughter of Peter and Olivia, on Fringe.
The network has confirmed that Elsa's story will pick up after the events of the Disney movie and Elsa will claim her role as Ice Queen. Adam Horowitz, "Once Upon A Time" co-creator, told E! News that they will not be repeating the movie, "But what we are going to do, we're not ready to tell you. But what we can say is we're very aware of what we think makes this character from Frozen so special and we want to honor that and make sure that what we do is in the universe of everyone fell in love with this past year."
"Frozen" hit theaters last November and has now become the highest-grossing animated film of all time and the fifth highest-grossing movie ever.
Queen Elsa and Princess Anna will join other Disney favorites Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and the Wicked Witch of the West (Rebecca Mader), just to name a few, in ABC's twisted fairy tale.
ABC's "Once Upon A Time" will return this Fall on Sunday night at 8:00 p.m.
