"Once Upon a Time" season 2 is bringing back a very familiar face with episode 18, "Selfless, Brave and True," for which ABC released promotional photos on Tuesday, March 19.
In this next "Once Upon a Time" episode, Mary Margaret (Ginnifer Goodwin) finds August (Eion Bailey) when she's off trying to come to grips with what happened to Cora and how it's all affected her, but August isn't exactly August. He's completely made of wood and hidden away from everyone—and ashamed because of actions he has taken in life. In fact, the flashbacks to the time before the curse are going to show August when he meets a man of magic who could prevent him from turning back into wood "at a steep price." Meanwhile, Neal (Michael Raymond-James) invites his fiancée, Tamara (Sonequa Martin-Green), to Storybrooke, shocking Emma (Jennifer Morrison). That may not have been the best idea.
The "Selfless, Brave and True" photos, which you can check out in the slideshow above, offer a look at August visiting the man of magic in the flashbacks, and there is an exchange—but at what cost? The rest of the photos show Tamara in Storybrooke, and that includes reading the fairytale book and sitting down for what has to be an awkward meal with Emma and Henry (Jared Gilmore).
