In the Disney film "Frozen," Elsa and Anna's parents were only featured towards the beginning. However, an Aug. 7 report by Enstars reveals that they may be explored in upcoming episodes of "Once Upon a Time." In addition to the possibility of their parents being explored, fans might find out more about life before Arendelle.
Executive producer and co-creator Edward Kitsis told TV Guide that there could be some things viewers don't know pre-Arendelle. Even though he didn't say if fans would meet Elsa and Anna's parents, it sounds like it might be a possibility.
"Once Upon a Time" season 4 will begin with Elsa escaping from the urn she was kept in. Viewers saw her appear on the season 3 finale. Even though some think she will be the new villain, the creators want to be careful to honor the character.
Adam Horowitz said that how Elsa ended up in the urn and what was happening in her life at that time will be revealed. It will be what will push the story forward. He added that there will be some surprising connections between our world and Arendelle. Even though a lot is being kept under wraps, it has been teased that Elsa has something in store for Storybrooke.
As it was previously reported, Georgina Haig will be playing Elsa and Elizabeth Lail has been cast as Anna. First look photos of the pair have been released and the characters look very similar to how they appeared in the movie "Frozen." Other characters from the film that will show up in Storybrooke include Kristoff, portrayed by Scott Michael Foster and Hans, played by Tyler Jacob Moore. Also, John Rhys-Davies will be voicing the elder troll Pabbie.
Are you looking forward to seeing the "Frozen" character in Storybrooke? It all starts on Sept. 28, when "Once Upon a Time" season 4 will begin airing on ABC.
