"Once Upon a Time" fans who want Regina (Lana Parrilla) to find love might be in luck—it looks like the Evil Queen has been shooting scenes with her second true love, Robin Hood (Sean Maguire). So Hoodies better get ready to ship the new Outlaw Queen!
Alexandra Metz, the gorgeous actress playing Rapunzel, mentioned Parrilla and Maguire in a Dec. 12 tweet. She was responding to a tweet from Snow White actress Ginnifer Goodwin asking fans about which iconic villain they think Rebecca Mader is playing on the show. Metz teased, "oh I know! ran into her today, along with the beautiful @lanaparilla & @sean_m_maguire #lipzipped."
It sounds like Robin Hood and Regina will meet at long last, which will definitely make Tinkerbell happy. However, Rebecca Mader's villain might be a threat to their happiness. There's been some speculation that Mader is playing Cruella de Vil, and the "101 Dalmatians" character would make the perfect foe for Robin Hood—Cruella is a very rich woman who wastes her wealth on awful things, like trying to make a fur coat out of puppies. Robin definitely wouldn't feel guilty about taking her riches and giving them to those in need. And the Outlaw Queen's magic might come in handy if the "Once Upon a Time" version of Cruella de Vil possesses powers that the cartoon villain did not.
Speaking of the Outlaw Queen, Robin Hood himself is the one who hinted that Regina might soon resemble Snow White's warrior princess character. Sean Maguire recently tweeted a photo of himself looking pretty cozy with Lana Parrilla, and he captioned the cute pic, "The queen & I #hoodies #outlawqueen #onceuponatime."
Snow might be more than willing to help Regina find happiness with her true love, but will the women even be together to continue mending their relationship? The next half of this season will take place between Storybrooke and Fairy Tale Land, so maybe the show will shake things up by sending some people back to their former home while leaving others in Storybrooke. Creator Adam Horowitz might have dropped a hint about how this happens by tweeting a line from the script of this Sunday's episode. Regina tells Emma, "There's something I haven't told you." Maybe Regina's secret has something to do with how Pan's recasting of her curse will affect everyone in Storybrooke.
Since Robin Hood is definitely making an appearance, hopefully this also means that Mulan will be around, too—that poor girl definitely needs a little help finding a happy ending. And if Cruella makes an appearance, maybe Pongo will get his Perdita (and a litter of adorable puppies). So are you looking forward to seeing Regina as an Outlaw Queen on "Once Upon a Time?" And how does Rapunzel fit into this picture?
