Now that everyone is back in Storybrooke, they all begin to contemplate what’s next for them. Rumple and Belle are happier than ever. Charming has been cured of his dream shade problem, and brings up having a baby with Mary Margaret. Surprisingly, Hook decides to step back and let Emma and Neal have a shot. Emma, on the other hand, is not too sure that being the savior allows her any time off. It is great to return to Emma contemplating what it means to be the savior. She has had this title for awhile now, and so she knows that it is up to her to save things. Hopefully the writers will continue to have Emma struggle with this because it will be interesting to see what or who changes her mind. What did you think is in store for everyone in Storybrooke?
Hands down one of the best scenes of the night is Charming and Emma actually having a one on one conversation. It’s about time! There have been plenty of Mary Margaret and Emma conversations, but almost no conversations where it is just Charming and Emma. It’s nice to hear Charming give advice on how to handle life when bad things keep getting in the way, and it is a good tie in with the flashback. Charming has been struggling with the threat of evil interfering with his life for probably as long as he can remember, so he knows a thing or two. Plus, when Hook is brought up in conversation, it is absolutely fantastic. Did you enjoy seeing Charming and Emma actually have a father daughter moment?
Pan!Henry is one creepy guy, let me tell you. He manages to weasel his way into Regina’s vault, and he takes the curse. That’s right, the curse that landed everyone in Storybrooke in the first place. This time, apparently, the curse would just do the memory wipe again, but the promo seems to reveal that something else would happen. Hopefully, the writers don’t cast the curse again. Been there, done that, am I right? What would be different about this time, and if Emma can’t break the curse again (according to Gold), what would? What would be interesting is if the curse backfired in some way. What are your thoughts on the potential of the curse being released again?
