Mary Margaret: “You know what I saw when I looked inside? Hope.”
Henry: “Looks like fairytales to me.”
Mary Margaret: “And what do you think fairytales are? They are a reminder that our lives will get better if we just hold on to hope.”

There were a lot of tears shed in this episode by me. I think I cried for the last fifteen minutes or so. The prices for undoing the curse are steep. They are interesting twists to throw into the mix. Thankfully, the writers aren’t doing the curse part two, but it still changes things up considerably. It will be interesting to see how Emma and Henry regain their memories. The attempt with Hook kissing her at the end is adorable. Also, the fact that Hook is the one to find her a year later is pretty fantastic. Yay captain swan! What are your thoughts on what is to come?
One thing that is interesting is the mix of flashbacks that are sprinkled throughout the episode. Some of them make sense, and others do not. We see Tink and Hook’s first meeting, which is interesting (hello Smee!), but ultimately does not connect to any part of the episode. Snow and Charming’s flashback ties in with them all having to leave Emma all over again. It is weird that considering all the flashbacks, there is not one to remind viewers of the dagger. Does anyone else need a refresher in Dark One Dagger 101? I sure do. Okay, so somehow Rumple stabbing his dad killed him as well. Are we supposed to believe that Rumple stabbed himself and his dad? The dagger does not seem long enough.
Regina shows how far she has come in this episode. She makes the ultimate sacrifice by saying goodbye to Henry for good. Not only that, but she gives Emma and Henry memories of a happy life. This is a nice moment to have, and it makes sense that Regina could do all of this. After all, she created lives for everyone when she brought them to Storybrooke. The only difference is Regina made sure they all suffered. What are your thoughts on Rumple and Regina?
