Imagine you are a jogger about to embark in a Half Marathon. You are stretching and steadying your breath for the run that is ahead. Around you, there are other joggers, mentally getting ready, tying their shoes and drinking water. As the marathon begins, you are running steadily and are looking around a runner passes you by and you take a second look. She is dressed as Minnie Mouse! You hear fanciful and happy music that does not seem to be real. What is going on and where are you? You are at Disneyland! This weekend, September 3-5 marks the fifth anniversary of the Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend. This event has always been a favorite to many. Last year 4,000 runners ran through Disneyland last year. Although the Marathon events have been sold out that is no reason for the family, friends and avid joggers to cheer on those who entered the race as well as take a part of Disneyland’s Health and Fitness Expo at the Disneyland Hotel.

Weekend Events
• Disneyland Half Marathon-Sprint through not only Disneyland and Disney California Adventure but through the sunny streets of Anaheim on September 5.
• Fabulous 5k and Kid Races- This is especially for children and it is a great way for parents to make new memories on September 4th. There are several kinds of races for children, such as a “Diaper Dash” for babies 12 months and under.
• Pasta in the Park Party- An exclusive dining experience for participants that not only serves delicious pasta but other items such as a Disney Fastpass and Preferred viewing of the World of Color September 4th.
