On Aug. 13, 2014, Wiz Khalifa treated fans to a special performance and participated in a Q&A at Clear Channel’s iHeartRadio Theater New York presented by P.C. Richards & Son. He promoted his fifth studio album Blacc Hollywood as well as his newly released single “We Dem Boyz." The performance was a part of the "iHeartRadio Live Series," a Clear Channel entertainment production that features performances from today's top recording artists.

Though it was an intimate crowd, Wiz managed to have the iHeartradio building shaking. It was hard to classify him as a rapper in that moment as opposed to rock star. The stars of the most dangerous morning show in town “The Breakfast club” introduced him as well as conducted a short Q&A in between songs from his set. Leave it to Charlamagne Tha God to make jokes on the rapper's weed and drinking habits, which had the crowd in laughter. Wiz performed songs from his old mixtapes as well as his albums. Songs from his past like “Black and Yellow” and “Roll Up” had the crowd in sing along mode word for word as they regurgitated the lyrics of his past hits.

Then as he performed new songs off “Blacc Hollywood” such as “Raw” the crowd vibed and danced to songs they had probably never before heard, but were so captivated by his performance, matched his energy level. Current hit “We Dem Boyz” really took things to another level as the floor in the iHeartradio room literally began to shake! Wiz spoke motivating words to his fans all throughout his performance to remind them that regardless of what the circumstance, they can reach a high level of success. The show in total was extremely enjoyable as the crowd left with smiles and cheers. Wiz Khalifa is certainly a unique talent constantly raising the bar for himself!

Read what Wiz Khalifa had to say about his new album:

Q: Whats the difference between Blacc Hollywood and White Hollywood? Is weed legal in Blacc Hollywood?

A: You can smoke weed when you want to in Blacc Hollywood.

Q: “Blacc Hollywood” has two “c’s”. Why is it spelled with two “c’s”?

A: Well I wanted to take away from the color and really just represent something on our artists, on our attitude. It kind of just so happened that the Chanel frames came in place of the two c’s ... It’s just different from any black Hollywood that anyone knows.

Q: Are you the only star in Blacc Hollywood or there are more people there?

A: Nah, everybody is a star in Blacc Hollywood.

Q: Who’s your favorite star in Blacc Hollywood?

A: My wife and my son.

Q: Who is your favorite person to smoke with in Blacc Hollywood?

A: Amber doesn’t smoke. Charlamagne you pretty funny when you’re high.

Q: Who are some of your favorite artists to see on tour besides yourself?

A: I like watch Rich Homie Quan perform; he gets really good crowd reaction. Mack Wilds kills it he’s really talented; his voice sounds amazing.

Q: Let’s talk about the "Under The Influence” tour that you’re on right now. People are saying its like a huge big party.

A: Yeah it is, it’s crazy. Jeezy’s on out there, we got IamSu and they brought like that West Coast vibe. And Ty Dolla $ign he gets the ladies going crazy. Yeah man and I just kind of cap it off with what I do.

Q: You’re a father, a husband… do you still really enjoy staying out all night?

A: Yup. I stay up all night and in the morning, too.

Q: Night time is your time though, right?

A: I’m up all day and all night you know. Sometimes it's promo in the mornings, sometimes it's clubs at night.

Q: Are you a night person though or a morning person?

A: I’m more of a night person.

Q: What’s up with the bathrobes?

A: There’s a hot tub in our dressing room.

Q: “Blacc Hollywood” you said this is your best work to date. What makes it your best work to date?

A: I think the amount of patience and the amount of like energy I really put into it being an album. I usually do that for mixtapes but now it’s an album people are going to get to feel that energy worldwide.

Q: You’re also of course a CEO. You have artists like Ty Dolla $ign,TaylorGang. Now how do they influence your album?

A: They influence it every day because we all have the same jokes. A lot of the songs come from our situations; whether it be me personally, them, stuff that we all know about – have been through or songs that are totally new to all of us.

Q: Let’s talk about one of our favorite songs right now in the club “We Dem Boyz”! Let’s talk about the making of that video, what went behind that?

A: It was fun. My idea behind that was to do one shot and incorporate some of the real energy behind making the song ... So I wanted to do something for them and not only do that but do something that was kind of scaled down from what people were used to seeing from me because that what “Blacc Hollywood” was about anyway. The song in general was kind of like scaled down everybody was like “Why would Wiz do a song like that?” but at the end of the day, we know what we doing out here.

Q: What’s the name of your band?

A: Kush and Orange Juice.

The 60-minute special event streamed live on all Clear Channel Urban and Rhythmic station websites and iHeartRadio.com. A 30-minute broadcast special will air on Sunday, Aug.17. “Blacc Hollywood” drops Aug. 19, 2014.
