On the scene: Timo Weiland Fall 2014 presentation

This season the Timo Weiland Fall 2014 men's collection was presented at the Highline Hotel. This casual menswear collection was the perfect combination of rugged and crisp. It was the midpoint where what an everyday man wears, and what his girlfriend would want him to wear meet.

Nick Wooster, and the rest of the guests walked around the fifteen mannequin-esque models at the hotel's Hoffman Hall. The venue offered a wide space with arched oak ceilings that complimented the clothes perfectly. The size of the hall also allowed guests to detail the looks from every angle.

The presentation was composed of looks that subtly altered classic styles such as the plaid buttoned down shirt, into an asymmetrical-cut two-toned plaid button down. One of the looks was extremely well put together. The colonial blue corduroy pant, along with a classic blue cable turtle neck, and the “Noah” Moroccan blue quilted jersey jacket looked effortlessly styled. The fact that the outfit had simple shapes in different shades of blue, made it look twice as stylish.

The magic trio of creative director Timo Weiland, and the two FIT graduates the design director Alan Eckstein and head designer Donna Kang, were roaming the room along with the guests, posing for photographs gladly, and stopping for conversations with everyone. Clarks sponsored the presentation. The venue definitely aided in creating a cozier atmosphere where their pieces would look best.
