Our ears are still ringing from the screaming fans who gathered at the MetLife Stadium on Aug. 5, 2014 to experience their favorite boy band One Direction. The boys of One Direction brought their sold out "Where We Are" global tour to the stadium for two sold out dates Aug. 4 and 5. The two dates were sold in out two minutes! Fifty thousand dedicated, loving fans filled the stadium.

As we looked around the stadium, we saw many fans of all ages with signs saying "Niall look in my Direction" and "Zayn You're Amazayn" as well as homemade t-shirts with the band's favorite quotes and lyrics. These fans have been with the boys since their "X Factor" days. As we got to our seat, there were fans promoting the band's new fragrance "You and I," with their own self made pamphlets. We can honestly say that we have never seen such dedicated fans.

The Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer served as the evening's opening act. The band opened for 1D last year on their "Take Me Home" tour and they worked so well together that One Direction brought them back for this tour. After being on the road with the One Direction boys for a year the band has found success from preforming at the Billboard awards to having a number one single in the states with "She Looks So Perfect." The 5SOS fans were in full force as well. As the guys preformed their new single "Amnesia," everyone was singing along. Soon it was time for 1D!

The lights dimmed and the spotlights came on. The band's intro music started to play and a video clip of the boys came on. The excitement was building. Screams turned into shrieks as the boys popped up on stage. Harry sang the first line of "Midnight Memories" and the crowd roared. They kept the show upbeat and sang songs like "Rock Me" and "Kiss You." Throughout the show each member personally thanked the crowd for everything they had done for the group. They could not have been more grateful. "As I watched the Super Bowl at home I thought how am I going to play that stadium, it's huge, and look at what you guys did for us. Thank You," Niall told the crowd.

They slowed the show down with "Little Things" and asked fans to take out their phones. The way the stadium lit up is an image I will never forget. The boys' personality shined on stage with funny moments like Harry eating a banana, Niall twerking, Liam beat boxing, Louis being his witty self and Zayn his usual quit self. As they brought the show back up with "Better Than Words" and "Alive," fireworks shot out over the stadium. The boys ended with their first single "What Makes You Beautiful" and left the stage.

But of course, the fans wanted more! Their screaming and chanting continued until they boys came back out for an encore. Niall slowly walked out as the music for "You and I" was playing then started to sing, as each of the boys' parts came on they would walk on to the stage dramatically. After the song was over, they all shared a laugh. The choreography was impressive and brought us back to their "X Factor" days. They sang three more songs and closed with "Best Song Ever" with confetti shooting from every corner possible. Talk about a big finish! The production of the whole show was "phenomeniall." The boys kept us entertained the whole night. There is never a boring moment when it comes to One Direction. This is a must see summer concert.
